Thankfulness continued; I am thankful for the ability to read and write. I love reading just about anything, it goes with learning on a daily basis. I love expressing myself in writing or sometimes in music. The past year of becoming a blogger has been a dream and next year I will attempt to write for money. I have several short stories hid away from college days. 2018 hopefully will shine a new light on writing.
I’m also thankful for living in a country I can express and share my faith without pressuring anyone to see or do things my way. I may never know how my faith or prayers helped someone in life, but I’m thankful I’m brave enough to approach them with examples anyway.

Falling for Fall isn’t that a catching thought? Most people may not think about falling for a season, but I have for many years. As I gaze out the window by my desk or sneak away to the lake I see a burst of my favorite colors everywhere. If you enter my home which is now a Cozy Condo in October you will see those colors everywhere, including deer, and foxes and such scattered among my decorations. Falling for Fall includes sitting by warm fireplaces, wearing hoodies and preparing baked goods.
please share in the comments which season you Fall for and maybe why? I look forward to the different reasons!
Midlife brings so many thoughts to a person’s life. My mom spent the weekend with us and she turned 71 years old.
I’m sure y’all have a parent who has turned that age also, although if you were sitting beside me in this Cozy Condo https://newlifeduringmidlife.wordpress.com/cozy-condo/
I would explain that she was not even supposed to see 1 of her grandchildren but has held all five of them and all 4 of her great-grandchildren; even my grand-daughter who is in Heaven.
I would attempt to tell you while holding back tears that when I was a mere 12 years old she had a ten hour surgery to remove a brain aneurism from center of her brain. She had 50/50 chance of survival and has out lived by father by 11 years now. I can not return to my childhood home due to it now being boarded up. I can recall the person she was before the surgery and the person she has become these days.

Day #24 Is Favorite Rock n Roll artist. So if you read my blog and personally know me you are in for a huge surprise. Most of you see Favorite Rock n Roll artist and assume Elvis Presley will be here. I am a very big fan of The King of Rock n Roll. I can pick one of his songs for almost any mood, yet that’s because I could get away with playing his songs in my childhood home.
Funny how generations never change. My parents born in the mid 40’s and grew up in the 50’s and 60’s experienced lot’s of different music and probably were forbidden not to play some. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and experienced the same treatment. My children were raised in the late 80’s through 00’s and the only restriction they were given is if you listen to Rap You must wear headphones.
Anyway I have posted 2 songs from Bob Seger; He was one of the first artist I purchased music of growing up.
If you grew up in the 70’s and 80’s please share in the comments of some favorite artist from our Era.
#Challenge #Music Day 20
Today the challenge is a song for my funeral.
No doubt in my mind that it would be this one.
When I’m gone
I would want you to remember any lessons I taught you or the way I May have touch your soul. You would be alright When I’m gone.
In the middle of a 30 day music 🎶Challenge
A song that reminds you of your spouse or partner!
My spouse that is now on oxygen and very sick is a country boy!!! He also ran Heavy Equipment for a living!
When he was using a tractor 🚜 to take care of our homestead I was always watching. I 💘maintain lawn. His gardens were always to much to handle but I’d do it all over again if he were able.
Not very often but once in a while he would have me come to construction sites to have lunch. I always enjoyed seeing how he earned the money to provide for his family.

Day 19 is a song I would play at my wedding!
Well as a person who is about to celebrate 33years and didn’t have a traditional experience type wedding this challenge took some soul searching.
After considering possibility of a song to walk down the aisle with or dance at reception?
I opted to choose reception and imagine walking across the floor toward each other.
